St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fountain City and Hope United Church of Christ in Cochrane in partnership with Feed My People Food Bank are pleased to announce the return of a program that will provide supplemental food to C-FC families. The new program, called Feeding C-FC Families, replaces the Backpack Meal Program, which was operational from 2017 until COVID shut it down in 2020.
The Feeding C-FC Families Program will provide pre-packed bags of nonperishable food to families in need once a month, with the Milton Town Hall (1/4 mile south of the school) serving as the primary distribution location. Home delivery may be an option for a limited number of families, depending upon the number of volunteer drivers. There is no cost to participate in the program and no income qualifications. You may sign up or withdraw from the program at any time as your financial situation changes. Any C-FC family who believes they need additional food support may sign up for the program. If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the program, priority consideration will be given to elementary age children, with the youngest grades being given the highest priority.
