A huge thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our Fork n’ Film Fundraiser! It was an action-packed evening for our Advanced Foods and FCCLA students, who skillfully cooked and served 8 delicious courses throughout the enchanting movie, "Princess and The Frog"!

We learned so much and had an amazing time organizing and serving all the dishes!!

A special shout-out to FBLA (Mrs. Weber) for preparing and serving popcorn at the start of the event , and to the Tech Ed Department (Mr. Peterson and his kiddos) for creating custom drink coasters for everyone to take home, adding a fun touch to our night!

Thank you for supporting our students and making this event a memorable one! We couldn’t have done it without you!

"Cameron Lipinski showed consistent improvement at Cochrane-Fountain City, helping the Pirates to a Dairyland-Small conference title and trip to the sectional finals," an article on wissports.net said."He's averaging 21.4 points per game as a senior, displaying outstanding shooting ability all over the floor, including 43.1% from three and 79.6% from the free throw line."

STEM Day at Winona State University was a huge success!  Ms. Mikelson and Ms. Johnson took about 40 students to WSU, where they explored watersheds, tackled rock climbing, examined dinosaur fossils, learned about engineering machinery, and even studied neurodegenerative diseases!  Such an exciting day of hands-on learning and discovery!

Ms. Puetz and Mrs. Prenot’s 4K classes have been busy exploring their five senses, and their sense of hearing got a special treat!  The students took a "field trip" to the band room, where Mr. Zalewski and his talented high school band members introduced them to different instruments and performed a few songs!  A huge thank you to Mr. Zalewski and the band for this unforgettable experience! 

Eight students recently showcased their skills at the MS FBLA State Leadership Conference, with seven of them stepping up as first-time competitors! Their dedication and hard work paid off, and they should all be incredibly proud of taking on this challenge.

A special congratulations to Maci Ward and Norah Lisowski for earning 4th Place in Business Etiquette and to Zoe Tepovich for securing 1st Place in Exploring Leadership! With their outstanding performances, Maci, Norah, and Zoe have qualified to compete at the National Conference in Anaheim this June!

Students in Mr. Derksen’s science class brought topography to life with an augmented reality sandbox!  This interactive tool allows students to shape the sand and watch real-time digital visualizations of elevation changes, contour lines, and water flow. Through hands-on exploration, they’re gaining a deeper understanding of landforms, watersheds, and geography in an exciting and engaging way! 

A huge thank you to Treasure Trove and our amazing administration for providing graphing calculators for our students!  With this generous support, students will be prepared to tackle the ACT with confidence!

This group is inviting all players, from beginner to expert, to come join them here at school from 6-8pm on Wednesday and Sunday nights in the Middle School Gym!

Students from Winona State University’s literacy and reading class joined Mrs. White's kindergarten classroom for four weeks. These future educators worked alongside students, sharing stories and fostering a love for reading.

Kindergarten transformed into a cardiology center for a hands-on heart-themed learning experience!  With four "operating rooms" ready for action in their classrooms, students dressed in scrubs and got straight to work:

Heart Rate – Using stethoscopes to tap out syllables and hear them through the scope.

Heart Bonds – Helping “sick” patients by finding the missing addend with magnetic bandages.

Broken Hearts – Matching heart pieces to spell animal words.

A waiting room kept early finishers engaged, and “blood bags” provided refueling as needed!

4K students had an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of the school kitchen!  A HUGE thank you to our amazing kitchen crew for all their hard work in preparing delicious meals for us every day and for letting students take a special “field trip” through their workspace! The students loved seeing where the magic happens!

 Ninth-grade English students brought "Romeo and Juliet" to life as they took the stage to perform scenes from the classic play! After studying the text, they practiced their speaking and listening skills, using their best stage voices to project and engage their audience. Their enthusiasm and dedication shined, and every group did an incredible job commanding the stage!

The Jr. High Robotics Team competed in the Greater Western Wisconsin VEX IQ Robotics Competition Jan. 25 at Whitehall High School. Out of 41 teams, the Pirate Bots claimed 12th place in the prelims and battled their way to an impressive tie for 4th place in the finals!  Congratulations to team members Aston C., Bradley H., Kasheef M., Cooper M., and Joseph T. for their hard work and teamwork.
