Here is the structure for the 2020-2021 meal program:
- Grades PK-6 eat all meals in the classroom. Breakfast and lunch is delivered directly from the kitchen to each classroom.
- Grades 7-12 can pick up breakfast from 7:30-8:00am in the main high school entrance. Grades 7-12 eat lunch in the cafeteria where they are staggered in time and seating to promote social distancing.
- Afterschool meals are starting up again 9/29!! Forms for sign-up will be available during lunch each day. Items will include a Ham/Cheese hoagie ($5.00) or PB&J ($4.50) along with crackers, chips, string cheese, fruit, a drink, and a dessert.
- A la carte items will also be available for purchase in the cafeteria during lunch starting 10/7! These items are NOT included in the USDA free breakfast & lunch. Please add money to your family's meal account accordingly.
Free Meals
- Breakfast and lunch is FREE to all students until the end of the school year or until USDA federal funds run out.
-Because funding is indefinite, we are not providing meal account refunds at this time. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
- Milk taken with cold lunch will still be charged to the household's meal account as it is not a full meal and is not reimbursed by the USDA.
- Free and reduced meal applications are still being processed for federal reporting purposes. If you believe you are eligible at any time during the school year, please apply or reapply.
NEW AS OF 11/24/2020:
- We have received federal funding through the Wisconsin School Day Milk Program.
- Starting next semester, all students who qualify for free and reduced meals are also eligible for free milk at milk break. No payment is required for next semester.
- Refunds will be provided for families who are eligible and have already submitted payment for both semesters.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these challenging times together!
