Therese Schaffner BSN, PHN, RN
I graduated from Winona State University and have lived in the area for over 25 years. I have worked as a registered nurse in Public Health, long-term care, and remain on-call in the Emergency Department. I have twins that go to school at CFC.
Fun Fact:
I started emailing Elizabeth Hoffmaster (just retired after many years as CFC school nurse) 14 years ago asking what certifications and experience I needed to become the school nurse. I am so excited to be here and look forward to serving our students and staff for many years to come!

Barbie Hofschulte - Paraprofessional
My name is Barbie Hofschulte, we moved from Plainview MN 4 years ago to Fountain City, WI. I worked at the Plainview Elgin Millville Schools as a paraprofessional for 16 years. I am joining Cochrane Fountain City School District as a special needs paraprofessional, in the Elementary School.
My husband and I have 4 children, 1 grandson, and will soon be welcoming a second grandchild! We are enjoying all of the fun that the Mississippi River has to offer; open water fishing, exploring the beaches, relaxing on beaches, sunset cruises, and most of all, ice fishing! I am excited to be part of the Pirate Family!!

My name is Brooke Putz and I am the newest addition to the 6th grade team here at C-FC! I am a C-FC alum and recently graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language Arts. Middle School is my dream focus age, so I couldn't be more excited to be starting the year in 6th!
Outside of school, I love to read and craft whenever I can find the time. I also love to spend time outdoors with family and friends. Thank you to everyone for such a warm "welcome back" to the area. It's a great day to be a Pirate!

Hannah Green - 7-12 Grade Social Studies Teacher
Hi, my name is Hannah Green. I live in Eau Claire now, but I grew up in a small town called Shell Lake, so I know what small-town life is like. I just graduated from UW–Eau Claire last spring, and I’m really excited to be teaching 7th through 12th grade Social Studies this year.
History and learning about the world have always been things I enjoy, and I love finding ways to make them interesting and fun in the classroom. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time with my German Shepherd, Zariyah—she keeps me busy and makes life more fun.

At C-FC, I will be teaching Health and Nutrition, along with a PE class. When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and taking in the beautiful Wisconsin weather.

Evan Pagel - 7-12 Physical Education and Athletic Director
My name is Evan Pagel and I am very excited to be a CFC Pirate! I am entering my 6th year as a teacher, and my 1st as Athletic Director. I am already amazed with the fantastic people I have met from this community.
My wife, Morgan, and I got married last October. After a long search for a home, we finally found a place last June in Trempealeau. I am originally from central Wisconsin, but love being around the bluffs, valleys, and scenic Mississippi River. This part of the state is now my home! I am looking forward to a great year!
